60 days from raw billets to a fully machined GE T700 cold-section module.

We reverse-engineered a GE T700 cold-section module and rebuilt it through our own computational, geometry and manufacturing pipeline. It is our physical validation that the pipeline works end to end, on real turbomachinery.

The reference hardware

The photographs show the reference GE T700 hardware we reverse-engineered for this program.

Billet to inspected part

Every step ran through our own software and our own machines.
  1. 01

    Raw billet

Work starts from raw aerospace-grade billet stock.

  2. 02

    Computational design

Geometry is computed from the physics and constraints of the module.

  3. 03

    Geometry and CAM

The computed geometry is turned into toolpaths by our CAM layer.

  4. 04

    CNC machining

Parts are machined on 5-axis CNC with in-process probing.

  5. 05

    Finished component

    The fully machined cold-section module.

  6. 06

    Inspection

Measured against the computed geometry; results feed back into the pipeline.

What it demonstrates

  • The pipeline runs end to end: computed geometry reaches the machine without manual re-modelling.
  • We can machine turbomachinery-class geometry in-house, from raw billet.
  • Inspection results exist as data that feeds the next design, which is how the loop closes.
